Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Cook to support patient and staff dining. You will prepare food per recipes, read production sheets, and ensure cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.

You will engage in confidential patient care practices, uphold ethics, and help deliver meals for patient lines, retail areas, doctors lounge or catered events.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 1 year cooking experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food per recipe specifications for daily use on the patient line, retail areas, doctors lounge, or for catered events.
• Read production sheets and forecasts production needs.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist.
• Integrate ethics in all areas of practice.
• Adhere to confidentiality and patients rights policies.
• Support the facilities mission and values.
