Job summary

Arrowhead Behavioral Health, a private 48-bed hospital in Maumee, OH, seeks a full-time cook to prepare, cook and serve meals to patients and staff in a clean, organized kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Serve Safe certification within 60 days, weekend availability, and strong communication. Training is provided; prior hospital experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Serve Safe certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; diplomacy and discretion essential.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cooks and serves food to hospital patients and staff.
• Responsible for cleaning the dining room, serving line, and kitchen.
• Shifts: 8-hour shifts, hours between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., weekends required.
