Job summary

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin, OH is seeking a personable Cook to deliver patient and staff meals with careful attention to quality and safety. You will work full-time in our inpatient setting, preparing nutritious dishes that meet dietary guidelines and hospital standards.

In this role you will supervise dietary staff in the manager's absence, maintain sanitation, and support a collaborative kitchen team dedicated to exceptional patient care and efficient service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cooking experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Completion of state or local food safety training preferred.
• Healthcare kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods for patients, staff, and guests.
• Supervise dietary staff when the Manager is absent.
• Maintain sanitation, safety and infection control policies.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and areas.
