UNC Health Care's Lenoir campus is seeking a Cook to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and special events.

The role requires 3–4 years of related experience, a High School Diploma/GED preferred, and familiarity with kitchen equipment and cash-handling. This part-time, onsite position (20 hours weekly) sits in Dietary Services and supports patient and patient-family needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 3–4 years of related kitchen or food service experience.
• Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised.
