Descrizione del lavoro

Jefferson Regional Medical Center in White Hall, AR, is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff in accordance with dietary standards and schedules. You will collaborate with the dietary team to support patient nutrition needs and maintain a clean, infection-controlled kitchen.

The role requires clear communication, strong time management, and teamwork, with preferred food service or customer service experience.

Competenze

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Previous food service or customer service preferred; healthcare food service is a plus.
Skills: Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Mansioni

Prepare meals to meet designated meal times and test foods for proper seasoning and quality.
Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian regarding modified diets when necessary.
Supervise Nutritional Services staff in the preparation and handling of food items.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized kitchen in compliance with infection control policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
