Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a proactive food service professional to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals, following production records and pull sheets for high-volume service. You will maintain sanitary kitchens, manage inventories, and support efficient meal delivery, collaborating with managers and teammates to meet daily goals.

The role requires strong cooking knowledge, English communication, basic math, and a commitment to patient care and food safety.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of organization/employee/patient/family/caregiver information. [Required]
• Ability to operate standard office machines such as fax, copier, calculator, and mail machines. [Required]

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records.
• Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment and record temperatures.
• Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals and support efficient service delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
