Job summary

Compass Group USA, TouchPoint Support Services, is hiring for a full-time COOK position at FS St Vincent Anderson in Anderson, IN. The role prepares food following standards, supports meal service, and maintains HACCP-compliant safety practices.

We offer full-time hours Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, a competitive hourly pay of $16.00, and benefits including PTO, medical, dental/vision, and a 401(k). Prior cooking experience is preferred and online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms clean and stocked.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance or faulty equipment to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including safe knife handling and PPE.
