Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking cooks for full-time and part-time roles at UF Health Durbin in Saint Johns, FL. Shifts run 5:00 am–1:30 pm and 11:30 am–8:00 pm with some days varying.

Previous cooking experience is preferred, and pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with benefits for eligible full-time and part-time staff. As a team member, you will prepare meals to standard recipes, maintain quality and safety, and support kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and temperatures.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies.
• Follows HACCP standards and ensures proper serving temperatures.
