Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cook to prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of foods for hospital patients, employees and visitors in Baltimore, MD. The role is contract-full time with 35 hours per week at a pay rate of $20 per hour.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and basic English communication skills. One year of cook experience is preferred; ability to stand, perform manual labor, and work in hot/cold environments is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Basic communication skills (full command of the English language).
• Ability to perform manual labor (up to 25 lbs).
• Able to stand for long periods of time and move around at a brisk pace.
• Able to work in cold/hot environments.
• Ability to perform line cooking.
• One year cook experience preferred.
