Responsibilities

• ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHECKING ALL MEDICATIONS LEAVING THE DEPARTMENT TO VERIFY QUALITY ASSURANCE.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy agents, IV admixture, narcotic control, and investigational drugs.
• Dispenses medications from physician orders and ensures accurate entry into HBOC system.
• Communicates with healthcare professionals regarding orders and potential drug interactions.
• Participates in planning and updating pharmacy services to maintain high standards.
