Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a per diem Environmental Services professional to clean and sanitize hospital areas and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with infection control guidelines.

You will move furniture and supplies, operate floor machines and buffers, and maintain clean, safe patient and non-patient spaces while following established schedules. Participation in department meetings is also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Related experience 0-1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work aimed at preventing the spread of diseases by cleaning and sanitizing areas.
• Properly disposing of hazardous waste and sterilizing equipment per guidelines.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Operate cleaning equipment (floor machines, buffers).
• Attend a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
