Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated Custodian to perform standardized cleaning in patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, following hospital procedures to support safe, clean environments and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities include daily room cleaning, waste removal, restocking dispensers, assisting with special cleaning tasks, and participating in Patient Satisfaction initiatives, while adhering to safety rules and hospital policies.

Competenze

• Must follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Mansioni

• Performs timely patient room cleaning and supports departments; includes discharge, room, cycle, and ancillary cleaning.
• Cleans exteriors of assigned buildings and refills dispensers; collects receptacles.
• Completes project work (wall washing, trash removal, biohazardous linens) as assigned.
• Participates in Patient Satisfaction initiatives to meet department goals.
• Adheres to hospital safety standards in chemicals, equipment, and marking hazards.
• Adheres to hospital policies and regulatory requirements; performs other duties.
