Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services worker for the Oshkosh Surgery Center. The role covers cleaning patient care areas, floors, restrooms, rooms, and common areas using power equipment. Shift is Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm with occasional hour adjustments to meet department needs.

No formal education or prior experience is required; training provided. Benefits eligible and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate power scrubbers, carpet cleaners, waste compactors and related cleaning equipment.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions and MSDS references.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to department needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and corridors.
• Set up rooms for meetings and deliver AV equipment as needed.
• Groom floors and surfaces with machine scrubbing/stripping and apply finish.
• Operate cleaning equipment and report hazards or needed repairs.
• Dispose of recyclables, trash and medical waste following infection control guidelines.
• Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and linens as required.
