The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Campus Housekeeper at Bell Hospital to support a patient-centered environment with reliable cleaning and safety practices.

You will follow schedules, handle routine tasks across patient rooms and public spaces, and assist with linen delivery while adhering to infection control and safety policies. Training and teamwork are emphasized in a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
• Follows cleaning procedures meeting department quality standards.
• Adheres to infection prevention, safety policies, and incident reporting.
• May perform floor care, carpet shampoos, and upholstery tasks when assigned.
• Delivers linen and stocks carts to established par levels.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
• Performs cleaning procedures according to cleaning schedule meeting department quality standards.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the cleaning procedures utilized in all facility spaces, including patient rooms, labs, restrooms, and public areas.
• Follows infection prevention and safety policies; reports incidents to supervisor.
• Operates and maintains housekeeping equipment safely and reports hazards.
• Restocks housekeeping cart daily to ensure supply availability.
