Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks a Campus Housekeeper for Westwood Medical Pavilion to support patient-centered care on the Westwood campus. This 2nd shift position runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and requires dependable, detail-oriented cleaning across patient rooms, labs, and public areas.

You will follow infection control and safety policies, participate in team trainings, and help maintain clean, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1 or more years of custodial experience.
• 2 or more years with one employer.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
• Performs cleaning procedures according to schedule meeting department quality standards.
• Cleans patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, restrooms, and other spaces per procedures.
• Follows infection control, HR, and safety policies and reports incidents as required.
• Delivers and stocks supplies, maintains clean carts, and assists with training as needed.
• Participates in team meetings and department programs; supports a patient-centered environment.
