Job summary

Duncan Regional Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Culinary Service Worker to prepare and serve cafeteria meals and maintain dining areas in compliance with health standards.

You will ensure portions, temperatures, and service quality meet policy requirements while supporting inventory and training of staff in a hospital setting. The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and facility’s rules, regulations for culinary services.
• Strong team player with willingness to learn.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present all menu items within established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Serve food in proper pre-determined portion sizes and at correct temperatures.
• Provide services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Set up, maintain, and break down salad bar; maintain equipment and counters.
• Assist with training of new team members and ensure timely inventory orders.
