Job summary

Avera Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a friendly cafeteria associate to handle all areas of the facility’s dining operations. You will manage food service, cashiering, dish room, and dining room duties, stocking and restocking as needed while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate cash handling, assisting with catering events, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Food service and computer skills required.
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the cafeteria including dish room, serving and dining areas and cashiering.
• Obtain, inventory, display, and replenish hot and cold foods; operate cash terminal.
• Prints reports and reconciles cash drawer; deposits cash with escort and sec. deposits; records temperatures and other required logs.
• Assist with catering functions and inventory restocking; complete daily cleaning schedule as per standards.
