Qualifications

• Must obtain South Dakota Rural Water License for basic water treatment.

• Ability to frequently lift and carry boiler parts and chemical supplies weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high pressure steam boiler systems and related components to identify malfunctions.
• Perform operational maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical parts and systems.
• Use tools for boiler and equipment maintenance, including instrumentation.
• Take samples of boiler feed water and adjust chemical additives to maintain proper levels.
• Conduct routine preventive and scheduled maintenance on plant systems and equipment.
