Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations and hospital billing preferred.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment with defined productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review patient claims and account activity to help ensure payer-specific billing requirements are met.
• Follow up on billing, correspondence, outstanding accounts, adjustments, and account updates.
• Compile and prepare patient charges and claims, including applicable UB-04 and 1500 claim forms.
• Maintain accurate payer, physician, template, accounts receivable, collection, and departmental system information.
• Coordinate with Patient Financial Services and other Cincinnati Children's departments to resolve billing questions and support accurate account outcomes.
• Provide guidance and serve as a resource for teammates on established and non-routine processes as experience grows.
