Prime Healthcare is seeking a Medical Biller to manage patient billing and insurance claims within our Physician Group or Hospital in Mesquite, TX. You will ensure accurate coding, timely reimbursements, and clear communication between patients, insurers, and hospital departments.

The role requires knowledge of insurance billing requirements and 1–2 years of billing experience, plus strong communication and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines. Full-time, days shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 1-2 years of billing experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer Services experience required
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required

Responsabilités

• Review patient charts and code insurance information for accurate insurance billing
• Submit insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement
• Follow up on insurance denials or unpaid insurance claims and correct errors or insurance codes
• Prepare and send patient bills for remaining balances
• Communicate with insurance companies and hospital departments to resolve billing issues
