Job summary

Prime Healthcare through Dallas Medical Physician Group in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Medical Billing Lead to supervise billing, coding, and reimbursement activities and to support accurate revenue cycle operations.

The role includes reviewing documentation and coding, resolving claim issues, educating providers on payer requirements, and assisting with credentialing and process improvement while overseeing staff performance and daily AR activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of billing experience
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge
• Experience with Epic, Excel, Word, and clearinghouse software
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Review coding, documentation, and claims in Epic for accuracy and compliance
• Submit and follow up on insurance and third-party claims through final resolution
• Train and support billing staff on coding guidelines and payer policies
• Monitor charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denials, rejections, and AR reporting
• Assist with credentialing, process development, and compliance initiatives
