Job summary

The role collaborates with Patient Flow and Operations to plan, develop, and oversee bed management initiatives, monitor bed movements, and ensure compliance with national codes and accreditation requirements at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Qualifications

• 1 course in record keeping or 1 month experience.
• 1 course in inventory control or 1 month experience.

Responsibilities

• Move hospital beds physically to support bed management.
• Assist in partnering with Patient Flow and operations leadership.
• Monitor location, collection, delivery and transfer of beds.
• Ensure compliance of bed environments with codes and standards.
• Collaborate to identify opportunities for improving bed management.
