Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Storekeeper to move hospital beds and support bed management across University Hospital and Ross Heart Hospital. The role focuses on safe patient care environments and coordinating with Patient Flow and operations leadership.

You will monitor bed locations, assist with planning and implementation of bed management initiatives, and ensure equipment environment compliance with national codes and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read and write simple sentences.
• 1 course in record keeping (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in inventory control (or 1 mo. exp.); or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Move hospital beds and assist in bed management operations.
• Monitor bed locations, collection, delivery, and transfer of OSU owned beds and specialty rental beds.
• Ensure compliance of medical equipment environment with national codes and accreditation requirements.
