Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to assist patients and families in accessing behavioral health and environmental resources. Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, 1 year of behavioral health experience, and CA LMFT licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology required.
• 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• California BBS Licensed LMFT required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions in partial hospitalization and structured outpatient programs.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team and provide case management.
• Communicate with healthcare team, court officers, and patient families to expedite progress.
• Develop discharge plans and ensure timely follow-up within 7 days of discharge.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to unlicensed staff and interns.
• Perform safety planning and crisis intervention as needed.
