Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a licensed or pre-licensed behavioral health clinician (MFT/ social work/ psychology) to conduct psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, and case management during an episode of care. Responsibilities include discharge planning, community referrals, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology from an accredited graduate program.
• 1 year acute/psychiatric hospital experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals is REQUIRED.
• California BBS AMFT or MFT Intern eligibility is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with behavioral health psychosocial assessments and interventions.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary treatment team and provide case management.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and safety planning per policy.
• Support discharge planning and follow-up within the clinical program.
