Landmark Hospital of Columbia, part of Landmark Hospitals, seeks a Hospital-based Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)/Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalist team. This full-time role is based in Columbia, MO, with an average patient stay reflective of our LTAC setting.

The APRN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care, delivering advanced nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients.

Qualifications

  • Post graduate degree in nursing with clinical specialization for APRN.
  • APRN license in state where hospital location is.
  • 1–3 years of clinical hospital-based experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, team-oriented and empathetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to a selected population of patients.
  • Provide advanced nursing practice care to critically ill and medically complex patients.
  • Manage care for patients with medical complex problems requiring advanced nursing skills.
  • Integrate clinical practice, education, consultation, and research to enhance patient care.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Landmark Hospital of Columbia is searching for a Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and professional Hospitalist team. We are a private, small LTAC hospital where we are truly one team working together in a positive environment. With an average length of stay of 25-30 days, we have the privilege of building a more meaningful connection with our patients and actually seeing them recover. Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with hospital standards in order to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. Responsibilities: In this role, the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse(APRN) performs at an advanced practice level that will include, but not be limited to:
  • Providing direct Nursing care to a selected population of patients
  • Provides advanced nursing practice care to critically ill and medically complex patients
  • Manages the care of patients with medical complex problems that require advanced nursing skills
  • Enhancing patient care by integrating the competencies of clinical practice, education, consultation, and research
The APRN accepts responsibility, accountability, and obligation to practice in accordance with usual and customary advanced practice nursing standards and functions as defined by the State Board of Nursing and in compliance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement. In this role, the ARNP is accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with hospital standards to deliver efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care. The APRN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.

    • APRN license in State for the hospital location, with specialty certification from a national certifying organization recognized by the State Board of Nursing and a certificate of recognition from the State Board of Nursing

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
