Job summary

CBRE is seeking a BAS Controls Engineer to support hospital facilities across the Dallas–Fort Worth region, specializing in Siemens BAS operations, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.

You will perform maintenance and troubleshooting, travel to 10–12 sites with a company van, collaborate with on-site BAS Engineers and facility teams, and implement improvements that meet client requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4–5 years in Building Automation Systems preferred.
• Healthcare facilities experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Siemens BAS systems and MS Office tools.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair skills for complex systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within North Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support Siemens BAS programs across hospital facilities to optimize energy use and operations.
• Travel to 10–12 sites in the Dallas–Fort Worth and North Texas region using a provided company van.
• Collaborate with onsite BAS Engineers and facility teams to align operations with design and standards.
• Evaluate day-to-day BAS operations, track energy consumption, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, review work orders, and procure materials as needed.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot BAS components, including chillers, AHUs, pumps, and sensors.
• Assist with BAS software integrations and system enhancement initiatives.
• Document and report performance metrics, testing results, and energy savings.
• Inspect systems to verify equipment operation meets design and client requirements.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized work and ensure safety compliance.
