Demonstrates excellent communication skills, ability to work well in teams, and exhibits patient focus. Performs direct and indirect nursing care activities as assigned, such as providing basic patient care, transporting equipment and patients, and managing daily inventory of patient care supplies. Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development, responds to changing patient needs, participates in team spirit and unit morale, problem-solves, maintains a safe work environment, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Communicates effectively with healthcare team members, maintains positive public relations, exchanges information for the patient, takes an active role in personal and professional development, and makes decisions based on ethical principles.
There are no education or experience requirements.
Work Days: 8-hour evening shifts, including every other weekend and occasional holidays per bargaining unit agreement.
