Responsibilities

• Reviews menus and prepares meals for Meals-On-Wheels and hospital patients.
• Initiates production of meals and prioritizes tasks as needed.
• Monitors inventory, reports shortages or surpluses to prevent waste.
• Maintains a clean, safe workspace in accordance with food safety standards.
• Coordinates with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal prep and service.
• Analyzes upcoming menus to determine output requirements.
• Operates kitchen equipment to maintain temperature and safe storage.
• Assists in organizing delivered goods to keep workspace efficient.
• Works well under pressure and can multitask.
