Job summary

The McPherson Center for Health is seeking a full-time AM Cook who will prepare meals for Meals-On-Wheels, the café, and in-patients, ensuring all recipes are followed as directed by the Dietary Director. This position involves monitoring food production and inventory, thereby preventing waste and maintaining quality.

Along with a team-oriented approach, ideal candidates should be able to multitask and perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age, 18+ to operate kitchen equipment.
• Minimal/no experience required.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meals based on provided menus.
• Monitor food production and inventory to prevent waste.
• Maintain a clean workspace to ensure food safety.
