CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking an Activities Coordinator for full-time days in Los Angeles. The role oversees the activities program for adults and geriatric patients, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance within a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a 100+ bed environment, and the state-approved activity director coursework. CNA certification is a plus and BLS/ARC may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 36 hours state approved activity director course required.
• Two years’ experience in a 100+ bed community, SNF preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work in a union environment.
• CNA Certification preferred is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage all required Activities Programs for the Chalet according to Federal and State Regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of activities for adults, including geriatric population and safety measures.
• Develop interpersonal skills to manage and motivate services.
• Organize and lead the Activities Program.
• Maintain ethical and honest conduct in all activities.
