Job summary

The Bower Coronado is seeking a friendly and professional restaurant server to join our team on site in Coronado, CA. You will take orders, describe dishes, upsell menu items, and ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing payments via Micros POS, and maintaining a clean service area. Must be 21+ with alcohol service certification. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Attend to opening and closing procedures and side work duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and take orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
• Suggest menu products to guests.
• Verify identification and ensure legal drinking age.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and do not serve minors or intoxicated patrons.
• Process payments using the POS and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of tables, service areas, and glassware.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and side work.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns as needed.
