Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral or Social science area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops recruitment strategies and increases visibility of the Volunteer Program.
• Provides training and oversight to volunteers.
• Assigns volunteers to meet program needs and interests.
• Arranges volunteer meetings for support and training.
• Completes social assessments with patients and caregivers.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Coordinates bereavement interventions and community outreach.
