Moments Hospice is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and engage volunteers, conduct outreach in the community, and represent the program at events and speaking engagements. The role emphasizes hands-on, field-based work and building strong community partnerships.

Competenze

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and recruit volunteers effectively.
• Experience in public speaking and community outreach.
• Evening and weekend availability as required.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
• Proficiency in organizing and hosting events.
• Knowledge of local community organizations and groups.
• Valid Driver's License (required).

Mansioni

• Introduce volunteers to patients.
• Conduct one speaking engagement per week.
• Achieve 35-40 community touch points per week at various organizations (churches, synagogues, senior centers, rotary clubs, civic groups, Elks Club, colleges, VFWs, assisted living facilities, and other community organizations).
• Post flyers and distribute recruitment materials.
• Attend job fairs and host volunteer recruitment events.
• Ensure 20 volunteer applications are completed per month for the assigned territory.
• Convert at least 10% of applications into active volunteers.
• Spend the majority of time in the community rather than in the office.
