What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement Volunteer Training Program.
- Recruit and train volunteers.
- Develop and maintain volunteer retention programs.
- Assure compliance with all regulatory issues related to volunteers.
- Develop programs that maximize the use of volunteers in both clinical and administrative services.
- Assume other duties as developed by the Director of Operations.
- Assist in the recruitment, training and development of all volunteer programs as needed.
Qualifications
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and speak before groups with sensitivity and compassion.
- Significant group organizational experience.
- Volunteer experience desired, particularly in recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers.
- Knowledge of hospice.
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
- Demonstrates excellent observation, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Shows ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.
