Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice & Palliative Care in Coshocton, OH is seeking a Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am–5pm). You will recruit volunteers, coordinate patient services, and ensure timely documentation while supporting dignified care for clients.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Recruiting experience preferred.
• Experience in public speaking preferred.
• 1 year experience in management/oversight of multiple individuals required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in home health; hospice preferred.
• Volunteer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive referral calls, complete intakes, document new client services enrollment, and schedule care professionals for hospice.
• Update/upload documents to patient charts.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations, as well as maintain customer relationships in an ongoing effort to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that hospice volunteers have everything up to date and turn in all timesheets.
• Be responsible for community outreach to recruit new volunteers.
