Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Hospice Visit Nurse role in Edgewood, Kentucky. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a 12-hour shift from 7:00 am–7:00 pm and an 8-hour shift from 9:00 am–5:00 pm, serving seven counties.

Driving required to patient homes, with responsibilities across hospice care. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of RN experience in hospital or care facility settings, a valid RN license (compact license preferred), and strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Compact (multi-state) license in primary residence state is preferred where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to patient homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care per physician plan and nursing care plan.
• Educate patient, family, and caregiver on care needs and follow-up.
• report pertinent findings to Clinical Care Coordinator with empathy and professionalism.
• demonstrate respect, dignity, and compassion in all interactions with patients and staff.
