Job summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Skilled Nursing Unit located in Edgewood, Kentucky. The role is night shift, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, full-time, 36 hours weekly.
The licensed RN is responsible for delivering evidence-based clinical nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff. A compact license and active state licensure are required, with adherence to licensure and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
- If eligible, must have a Compact (multistate) License in their primary state of residence.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is performed.
- Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including state-required courses.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to standards of nursing practice.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members.
- Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in every patient encounter.
