Job summary

Capital City Hospice is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a team dedicated to patients and families in Ohio. Our mission centers on dignity, comfort, and meaningful connections at life’s final journey.

You’ll provide personal care, assist with bathing, dressing, and daily activities, monitor vitals, and report changes to the Case Manager. We offer low caseloads, no on-call, generous benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Active CPR certification required.
  • Current state nurse aide certification.
  • Clear listing on the state aide registry.
  • Comfort with hospice philosophy and caring for terminally ill patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily activities.
  • Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Take and record vital signs with demonstrated competency.
  • Monitor skin integrity and report changes promptly.
  • Offer respite support to families and caregivers.
  • Communicate observations and updates to the Case Manager.
  • Build meaningful connections with patients and their loved ones.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Start times between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

What You’ll Do
