Job summary

Hospice of NW Ohio is seeking a qualified chaplain with at least one year of healthcare chaplaincy experience to provide compassionate spiritual care to patients and families in a hospice setting.

The ideal candidate is ecumenical, open to diverse worldviews, and committed to the chaplain code of ethics. You will chart in Netsmart EMR, work independently and within an interdisciplinary team, and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of healthcare chaplaincy experience.
• Open, flexible, and ecumenical in ministry toward a diverse population.
• Adheres to the chaplain code of ethics as articulated by the APC.
• Knowledge of death, grief, and loss with related ministry experience.
• Experience charting in an EMR system; Netsmart preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Commitment to Hospice philosophy and ongoing professional development.
