Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is required.
Summary
The Hospice Social Worker works as part of the interdisciplinary team to provide individuals, families, and caregivers with psychosocial support to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising patients and family caregivers about community resources and supports, and guiding individuals through the process as needed.
