Job summary

Hospice of the North Coast seeks a Social Services Manager to lead the psychosocial and spiritual services teams within its on-site operations. The role blends clinical oversight with team supervision, policy implementation, and ongoing staff development to ensure compassionate patient- and family-centered care.

You will report to the Director of Patient Care Services, supervise social workers and care advocates, and participate in QAPI activities while maintaining compliance and high-quality

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy from a school accredited by CSWE.
• Licensed/certified as appropriate. L.C.S.W. required.
• Experience supervising in hospice, long-term care, hospital and/or home health care.
• Demonstrates administration, supervision and training skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Psychosocial and Spiritual Services Departments by enforcing policies and guiding team members.
• Ensure care aligns with agency models and coordinating with Director of Patient Care Services.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff training.
• Engage in QAPI activities and maintain compliance and quality documentation.
