Job summary

Adoration Health in Parkersburg, WV seeks a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in home settings. You will assess needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and support families with empathetic guidance.

Requirements include WV RN licensure, 1 year of nursing experience (3+ preferred), and ability to work independently with team support. Benefits and flexible scheduling are provided to eligible staff.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active licensure in the operating state.
Nursing experience in a clinical setting; hospice experience preferred.
CPR certification and ability to drive to patient locations.

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
Create hospice care plans aligned with patient goals and wishes.
Direct nursing care: administer medications, treatments, and interventions.
Provide pain and symptom management to patients.
Educate and support patients’ families and caregivers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation; participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.
