Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Hospice On Call in North Carolina. You will respond to after-hours requests from the Triage RN, perform in-home assessments, and provide interventions including skilled nursing visits as needed.

The role offers competitive salary of $83,200–$86,000, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and a comprehensive benefits package with family and wellness support. Alternating weekends and weeknights are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the assigned state(s).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial nursing assessment on new admissions.
• Coordinates and revises the total plan of care; maintains continuity of patient care.
• Communicates patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team.
• Educates families on patient condition, needs and care.
• Performs on-call responsibilities and on-call services as assigned.
