Job summary

Suncoast Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a compassionate Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse for our Pinellas Park facility. You will provide inpatient hospice care to terminally ill patients and support families, with duties including assessment, care coordination, symptom management, and staff supervision.

The role requires a Florida RN license, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of nursing experience (hospice/post-acute preferred).

Qualifications

• Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 1 year of current active nursing experience; hospice/post-acute care preferred.
• Experience with terminally ill patients desired.

Responsibilities

The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides. The RN is required to work where needed and will be reassigned to another Care Center based on business needs.
