Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts to provide compassionate end-of-life care in Norwood and surrounding areas. The role offers an hourly pay range and a PRN schedule, with the autonomy to practice at the top of your license within a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include creating and executing patient care plans, performing comprehensive assessments, and educating patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
At least one year of nursing experience
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life
Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans
Perform comprehensive assessments-physical, emotional, social, and spiritual-to guide care decisions
Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are
Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity
Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress
Participate in on-call or admission rotations as needed
Engage in ongoing learning and professional development
