Job summary

Legacy Hospice seeks a self-motivated Hospice RN Clinical Liaison for weekend coverage at UVA Hospital, Fri–Sun 10:00 am–8:00 pm. You will identify referral sources, educate families, and build relationships with medical partners to grow census and trust in hospice care.

Ideal candidates have an RN license and 1–2 years hospice marketing experience, plus strong relationship-building with physicians and facilities. Benefits and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
Current unencumbered RN license.
Minimum 1 year sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
1–2 years hospice/palliative marketing preferred.
Strong relationship-building with physicians, staff and agencies.

Responsibilities

Identify and cultivate referral sources to increase census.
Visit hospitals and facilities to educate about hospice services.
Promote the hospice brand to exceed census goals.
Make regular calls to secure referrals and maintain accounts.
Assist in determining patient eligibility as needed.
Conduct initial meetings with patients and families.
