Job summary

Interim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated RN for Hospice who will support multiple clinics throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. This is a full-time role with an alternating weekend rotation and a schedule of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays.

The position offers compensation up to $74.20/hour depending on experience, plus a separate on-call stipend. Candidates must hold MN and WI RN licenses and have reliable transportation for home visits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MN and WI is required.
• At least one year of hospice/long-term care/palliative care experience.
• Must have reliable transportation for patient visits.
• Must have a reliable phone/workspace at home for remote triage.

Responsibilities

• Triage phone calls as needed.
• Process medication refills as needed.
• Durable Medical Equipment support and troubleshooting.
• Symptom management for hospice patients.
• Make visits for deaths or issues not manageable over the phone.
• All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities Include:

• Triage phone calls as needed.
• Complete necessary steps for medication refills as needed.
• Durable Medical Equipment support and troubleshooting.
• Symptom management for hospice patients.
• Making visits for deaths and/or helping patients with issues that are not able to be managed over the phone.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• An active RN license in the states of MN and WI are required.
• At leastone year of previous experience working as an RN in a hospice, long-term care or palliative care setting.
• Must have reliable transportation for patient visits.
• Must have a reliable phone/workspace at home to provide phone triage assistance remotely.
