Job summary

Hospice of Michigan, Inc. in Detroit seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver expert end-of-life care, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.

You will assess patients, manage symptoms, educate families, supervise Hospice Aides, coordinate equipment, and contribute to quality improvement while upholding our mission-centered standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• 1-2+ years of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide end-of-life comfort care and symptom management.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers throughout the hospice journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, spiritual care advisors, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Supervise and support Hospice Aides.
• Coordinate medical equipment and supply needs.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold our mission-centered care standards.
