Hospice of Michigan Traverse City is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing services or supervise the nursing team for hospice patients in accordance with standards of practice.

The RN will perform assessments, develop and update care plans with the interdisciplinary team, deliver end-of-life care, educate patients and families, coordinate equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong communication and flexibility are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and MI RN license.
• 1–2 years of varied nursing experience; hospice preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks.

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing nursing evaluations.
• Develops, implements and updates the individualized care plan with the IDT.
• Delivers end-of-life care focusing on comfort and symptom management.

• Supervises Hospice Aides and participates in quality assurance and training.
